Jake's Really Quick Movie Reviews: Wall-E
Wall-E was awesome.
I loved the complete lack of dialog in the film. Reminded me of old silent films I watched in my freshman film aesthetics class. Well worth the $10.

An unfortunate side affect of living in a brand new home is the revolt of the creatures that inhabited the land prior to us: mice. That’s right, what started with what we thought was a mouse has quickly become mice. I had the unfortunate event of discovering the first mouse while trying to take a shower one morning. Not a pretty sight.
As I thought about our creature infestation in our home and as I was in the drive-thru for lunch this afternoon I realized that sometimes we are willing to pay for the accountability of a service offering more than we are the service itself.
We have quite a few family members who work or worked in the pest control industry and have plenty expertise and knowledge to deal with these creatures with very little cost to us. Despite this, we are considering paying an exterminator to help us with the infestation.
What are we getting out of this service that our family members couldn’t provide to us for nearly no cost? Accountability. See we have a hard time sleeping at night with the thought of the creatures lurking around our floors or possibly under our bed. We want to be assured that our little friends will be gone after the service is provided.
Pretty funny videos. You have to watch more than 1 to completely understand.
I was eating lunch today at El Pollo Loco and some lady begins to paint her nails while sitting next to me.
I was immediately reminded of the days as a young child sitting in the nail salon as my mom held her hands under that strange purple light thing. It was not exactly the smell I wanted to experience while eating my lunch.

I just finished creating 10 new landing pages and 56 different graphic ads (7 sets of 8).
I am exasperated by this work for today…almost time to go home.
I really want to go on a vacation soon. I can’t decide where to go. I want to go on a cruise or back up to lake tahoe, but I don’t want to go by myself.
Part of me wants to take a road trip, but I don’t know who to go with. Everyone I know has work or can’t go.
I’ll figure it out soon; hopefully before I drive myself nuts.
I need to make some positive habbit changes over the next few weeks…
This is quite an extensive list of habit changes, but one habit at a time and I know I can make these changes.
